  • Bali – a great family holiday

    August 03, 2023 3 min read

Last week my family & I jetted off for some mid year r’n’r, sprinkled with a twist of work to the beautiful island of Bali. Here are our hot tips for a great Bali getaway…

We stayed at The Elysian in Seminyak. We had a beautiful one bedroom villa with our own pool. The villa was tranquil & spacious. Plenty of room for everyone & the bags! The staff were wonderful. Putu & Yuli were fantastic with our son. The breakfast was made to order & anything from room service was delish. Nasi Goreng & Mie Goreng on repeat anyone?

10 points for location. We could walk to everything we needed. The Relax Day Spa was right next door. $18 for a 1 hour massage! Yes, we had one almost everyday. Thank you to all the amazing girls there.

Our beautiful Nanny Herni from Febylous Bali Nanny was an absolute Gem. She loved Max & took such great care of him. It allowed us all to have a break & really relax.

Max loved our adventure to the Ubud Monkey Forest. Waterbom Bali was also a big hit. The kids area there is fantastic. Such great water slides & activities all made just for his size. Max had an absolute blast.

The baby backpack was a must pack!         Everyone say Waterbom

La Plancha on the beach was fun at sunset. That’s where you find the coloured bean bags! We took Max with us on this adventure. It was great, Max happily played on the beach. We happily had a cocktail or two! The kites, fireworks & fire dancers blew Max’s mind.

Ku De Ta, a day club just a short walk away was perfect for sunset drinks. We did this one AO & followed it up with dinner at Motel Mexicola. YUM!

Mano Beach House had such a chilled vibe. I did have a heavenly cheeseburger there.

A relaxing bike ride thought Ubud anyone? It was all downhill, not strenuous at all. It was lovely to ride through rice paddies, see the beautiful temples & take a peek at local villages.

While we were there I did need to fit in some Ocean Tales work. I went & visited our manufacturer. It was great to finally meet them in person. I was able to see our new range & visit their showroom. I was so happy I could bring home some of our new stock. Pre paying for excess luggage before you get to the airport is a must! I cannot wait to share our new range with you all. Get excited, it will go LIVE early September. Keep your eyes on your inbox for all the details.
