Looking for a fun activity for your mini's these school holidays? Why not grab your aprons, gather your ingredients & jump into the kitchen to make a batch of these super fun fishy cupcakes.
Step 1. Make a batch of you favourite cupcakes.
Let's get this party started!
Step 2. Whip up some delicious butter cream icing. Here is my secret recipe...
Ingrediants:
150g softened butter
250g icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons hot water
Colouring as desired
Method:
* Beat butter & icing sugar together with an electric beater until well conmbined.
* Add vanilla & water. Beat until creamy.
* Tint sparingly with colour. Remember you are adding liquid when colouring.
Can you feel the FUN?
Step 3. Choose your decorations. We used M&M's for the scales & lips, Fruit Salad Soft Jellies for the tails & these really cool eyeball decorations I found in the baking aisle at Coles.
Step 4. Go crazy & start decorating. Here's some inspiration from my little Master Chefs, Emily & Ollie. Fabulous wholesome fun that is easy to do. It let's your mini's get creative & use their imagination while enjoying some delicious cupcakes to boot!
The finished product. Tah dah!
Enjoy 😋
